> “Always a builder, sometimes a backer.”

|About
Filippo Chisari

I’ve done a lot of different things over the years. I’ve served in the military, worked in corporate development, management consulting, commercial leadership, investment, and spent the last stretch in emerging tech - specifically AI and digital assets. I’ve operated inside tiny startups, big corporates, and most sizes in between. On the side, I compete as an amateur athlete. I’m Italian-Dutch, studied in the UK, and now live in Portugal, having picked up languages along the way (fluent in Italian, Dutch, English, and Portuguese).

Below are some of my takeaways from life so far, and they shape how I’m still building as an entrepreneur and how I back others as an investor.

|My Entrepreneurship Philosophy
  1. 1

    Focus

“Success” isn’t about struggling or doing more. It’s about removing what doesn’t align with you. Protect your priorities.

  2. 2

    Fear

Everything we see as negative is a manifestation of fear, but fear is also our survival instinct. Learn to coordinate it.

  3. 3

    Problems

Failing is part of the process of achieving anything. The biggest opportunities are dressed as disasters. Changing a situation starts with changing your interpretation.

  4. 4

    Energy

Cultivate your gut feeling. Regulate yourself emotionally. Work on your vessel. Your energy is the ground of your ambitions and introduces you before you do.

  5. 5

    Mindset & Habits

Most achievements are built by mindset and sustained with habits. Create an environment where the right action is natural, and consistency feels seamless.

  6. 6

    People

Who you build with should be one of your most intentional decisions, but before that, get right with yourself. Your context can explain you, but it should never excuse you.

  7. 7

    Limits

Most limits are fed to you by society and then self-imposed. No one should get to decide yours, so go out there and discover them for yourself.

  8. 8

    Clarity

If you can’t explain it simply, you probably don’t understand it fully just yet. Communication is your clarity test.
